Summary
Coperniq is an AI-native operating platform for project-based contractors that integrates sales, project management, field service, communication, payments, and AI agents. The Founding Business Development Representative will build outbound sales pipeline by prospecting target accounts, qualifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and improving the outbound sales process, with a potential path to Account Executive.
Responsibilities
- Prospect target accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Identify owners, executives, and other key decision-makers
- Create and qualify new sales opportunities
- Book and attend qualified sales meetings
- Understand customer pain, priorities, timing, and buying intent
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity data, and next steps
- Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales process
- Work with the founders and sales team to improve targeting, messaging, sequences, and outbound strategy
- Test new approaches and help build the outbound playbook for future BDRs
- Running discovery calls
- Delivering product demos
- Building proposals and business cases
- Managing multiple stakeholders
- Handling objections
- Negotiating commercial terms
- Owning opportunities from first conversation through close
