Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations, DoorDash for Business (Merchant)

Summary

DoorDash is a technology and logistics company building products and meal programs through DoorDash for Business. The Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations will pilot and scale product features that improve delivery quality, using experimentation, analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and go-to-market planning to enhance experiences for merchants, dashers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run tests and lead product/ feature improvement efforts
• Optimize – Partner with product and engineering teams to continually sharpen the tools that drive quality
• Analyze – Build models that evaluate economics and patterns, turning data into clear decisions
• Execute - Design and run test plans and initiatives that measurably improve merchant and dasher quality
• Collaborate – Work across sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, and business development to elevate the experience for merchants, dashers, and clients alike

Skills

• You have 3+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting
• You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
• You are an excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets
• Direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
• Intermediate SQL experience strongly preferred

• You have 3+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting
