Summary
ForMotion is a global network of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics focused on compassionate care for people with mobility challenges. The Clinic Support Coordinator supports clinic operations remotely by providing administrative assistance, submitting prior authorization packages, verifying insurance benefits, and supporting related clinic processes.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to Clinic offices, as needed. Strives for a paperless work environment and full-utilization of technology‐based processes to drive operational efficiencies
- Submits Prior Authorization packages to insurance Payers, as required. Verifies authorization approvals and relays information on relevant payment and billing/collection policies back to the Clinics
- Performs Detailed Benefits verifications, where indicated, via phone or payer portal. Works closely with Clinic Support Specialists and PCSs to communicate outcome as it relates to final delivery approval and claim reimbursement potential
- Maintains flexibility and adaptability, as work needs will vary by market. May function as support for a remote call center, E-fax management, pre-delivery insurance re-verifications, appointment confirmations, or any other duties as needed and assigned

- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with patients, physicians, and coworkers in a tactful, informed and service‐oriented manner
- Detailed oriented
- One to two years of experience in the O&P industry utilizing EMR systems
- Prior experience in Commercial, Medicare, & Medicaid Insurances
- Working knowledge of Medicare LCD's and Policy Articles for O&P
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a Patient Care Specialist desired but not required
