Job description
Summary
Gainwell Technologies uses innovative technology and solutions to help improve health and human services outcomes for vulnerable communities. The Business Analyst - Healthcare Claims role analyzes and improves business processes, translates client and technical requirements, supports testing, and ensures changes are implemented throughout project phases.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, design, document and make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technological aspirations
- Be a supportive bridge between clients, project managers and technical personnel to define, track and communicate business requirements and their expected impact by building basic conceptual data and process models
- Create, execute or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are built into system design
- Ensure that “intent of change” is carried out through every project phase by participating in technical reviews and inspections
Skills
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience in a healthcare environment, with required healthcare claims experience
- Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into actionable solutions
- Experience supporting system, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate business needs
- Strong analytical, process improvement, and quantitative analysis skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
Qualifications
Must Haves
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience in a healthcare environment, with required healthcare claims experience
