Job description

Summary

Gibraltar Industries is a manufacturer of building products serving residential, agricultural technology, and infrastructure markets. The Talent Acquisition Partner leads full-cycle recruitment for technical, skilled trades, maintenance, engineering, operations, leadership, and other roles, while advising hiring managers and developing sourcing strategies. The role also manages recruiting processes and metrics, supports apprenticeship programs, and represents the company at recruiting events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, maintenance, engineering, operations, and leadership positions
  • Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill skilled trades and maintenance positions
  • Conduct intake meetings and evaluate technical competencies
  • Build proactive talent pipelines through networking, trade schools, military programs, and industry associations
  • Partner with all levels of leadership
  • Manage ATS documentation, recruiting metrics, compliance, and onboarding processes
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives
  • Support the design, implementation, and growth of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business or other applicable degree or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience recruiting maintenance, skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, or technical talent required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; communicates effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Sense of urgency relating to hiring, retention and goals
  • Excellent collaboration, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Effective change leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task, retain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of HR recruiting experience in a matrixed manufacturing organization preferred
  • Union experience is a plus
  • Apprenticeship program or workforce development experience strongly preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
