Summary

The Internal Sales Support role serves as a liaison among service teams, sales teams, and broker partners, supporting prospecting, proposals, renewals, enrollments, licensing, and producer appointments.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director to keep pipeline reporting up to date and ensure opportunities are closed successfully
- Provide responses to product inquiries, follow up on pending proposals, group applications, and fulfill requests for marketing material and sales literature
- Make outbound calls to prospective brokers to arrange meetings and expand territory engagement
- Participate in training with brokers, groups, and employees to promote a successful sales cycle from proposal through open enrollment
- Become a subject matter expert on Globe Life Group Benefits (GLGB) product offerings and co-marketed products
- Gather the information needed to drive successful renewals with changes, including:
- Establishing active communication and engagement with other departments to facilitate renewal changes
- Collaborating with underwriting to provide proposals for requested plan changes and/or new product offerings
- Providing updated employee enrollment guides and related materials
- Serve as the central point of contact for all formal RFP activities, including:
- Analyzing RFP requirements and providing responses in collaboration with Regional Sales Directors
- Coordinating with internal teams to gather specialized information
- Ensuring all components are compiled and ready for submission prior to established deadlines
- Maintain a comprehensive RFP response library to streamline future response processes and implement tracking systems to monitor RFP progress, deadlines, and completion status across multiple opportunities
- May include some travel (<10%) to assist with open enrollment meetings for certain premier accounts
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure compliance, processing, service, and reporting standards for producer licensing and appointments
- Collaborate with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), the Sales Team, and Vendor Partners to ensure successful onboarding of all producers
- Monitor the group mailbox and process within Salesforce to track and record all appointment processes
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of related experience in insurance, benefits administration, or client services
- Prior experience using a CRM tool is required
- Working knowledge of the supplemental health market and key aspects of selling new business, including case enrollment guides, marketing, proposals, and RFPs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong task and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to support sales teams and broker needs
- Demonstrated ability to foster multi-disciplinary team collaboration
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
- Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications
