Summary
Haystack is a leading organization focused on advancing national security through intelligence, analytics, and cyber solutions. They are seeking a Junior Technical Writer to prepare and maintain documentation, collaborate with developers, and contribute to all phases of documentation development for complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications
- Gather technical information and develop clear, concise written text
- Maintain a current internal documentation library
- Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Collaborate with developers to produce high-quality documentation and training materials
- Contribute to all phases of documentation development for complex programs/projects
Skills
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Technical Writer on projects of similar scope
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant discipline (additional experience may substitute for degree)
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- Ability to understand basic editing concepts and write technical copy
- Demonstrated experience preparing reports, responses, and briefings for diverse audiences (desired)
