Mobile Engineer

Summary

Echofi is a seed-stage company founded in 2021 and backed by $4.2 million in funding, developing its first mobile application. The Mobile Engineer will lead the initial implementation and ongoing development of the iOS and Android app, focusing on polished UI/UX, reliable APIs, accessibility, and shaping the technical culture.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in building and maintaining our iOS and Android app
• Provide feedback to our design team to provide a great user interface and ensure accessibility
• Shape our technical culture and the future of the team
• Learn new things, work hard, and grow as an engineer

Skills

• * 2+ years working with a mobile development framework, including Flutter, Android, iOS, React Native, or Xamarin
• * Solid understanding of how to integrate REST APIs with models and views
• * Familiar with best practices regarding testing, security, and reliability
• * Practical experience building and deploying apps in Flutter
• * Basic understanding of platform channels, iOS, and Android APIs
• * Full-stack and systems development in a general purpose programming language
• * Good taste in UI/UX design
