Summary
ITPartners+ is a rapidly growing managed services provider focused on delivering technology solutions and positively impacting people. The Account Manager – Managed IT Services serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned portfolio, strengthening partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and guiding organizations toward better technology outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, monitoring partner success, and driving retention and business growth in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
- Own and strengthen partner relationships through proactive communication, strategic business reviews, and trusted advisor engagement
- Identify opportunities for partner growth, service expansion, project work, and technology improvements that create measurable business value
- Translate technical concepts into business outcomes, educating partners and providing value with every interaction
- Maintain consistent account management rhythms, including open issue reviews, partner check-ins, strategic planning discussions, and CRM documentation
- Monitor partner health, satisfaction, project progress, retention, and growth indicators to ensure long-term success
- Achieve individual and team goals, KPIs, quarterly priorities, and annual objectives while maintaining a strong focus on partner retention and overall partner experience
Skills
- Bring 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, client success, or business development
- Communicate, negotiate, and present confidently with stakeholders at every level
- Use strong relationship-building skills to establish trust and rapport with partners
- Understand IT services and connect technology solutions to partner business needs
- Work independently, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate CRM activity
- MSP or technology industry experience and a bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field are preferred
