Software Engineer I

Summary

Jamf provides Apple device management, deployment, and security solutions for organizations worldwide. The Software Engineer I builds tools for organizations using Apple devices, collaborates with agile teams and experienced engineers, and completes software development tasks with increasing independence while supporting quality, communication, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with high quality and collaborate with more experienced Engineers when needed
• Efficiently use available tools with minimal
• Demonstrate solid understanding of Engineering best
• Ask the right questions, solve problems and build great
• Partner with team to understand and communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product and Cloud)
• Performs well defined tasks with increasing independence and seeks guidance when needed from more experienced Engineers
• Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization
• Adheres to the highest moral, ethical and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation and creativity

• Participation in ongoing security training is mandatory

• Minimum of 1 year of experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes
• Strong communication skills

• Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees
• Solution focused ability working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
• This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen located physically in the U.S
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in current programming language and tools based on position requirements
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, others to enhance development productivity
• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree
