Job description

Summary

Jewish Family Service of Colorado is a nonprofit human services organization that serves anyone in need. They are seeking a Community Resources for Stability Intern to assist with various projects, including data entry, updating training materials, and improving the functionality of their database.

Responsibilities

  • Scanning project: Transfer client paperwork to digital files on SharePoint
  • Training Materials: Updating case manager training materials to be current on CRS policies and procedures
  • Data Entry: Work with the CRS team to enter client survey and services information into various databases
  • Case Worthy Project: Work with the CRS Programs and Data Specialist and CRS Director to improve functionality of the Case Worthy database
  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, record information, update paperwork, or maintain documents such as attendance records, correspondence, and other materials
  • Contribute to other duties as assigned based on program needs

Skills

  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn client database systems
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to communicate professionally with staff, volunteers, and others
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team when needed
  • Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions
  • Completion of the primary COVID-19 vaccination series is required prior to the start of employment
