Summary
ScionHealth is a healthcare organization that empowers caregivers and values collaboration, courage, and innovation. The HRIS Payroll IT Analyst designs, develops, and supports application solutions, analyzes and tests system requirements, and assists senior team members with small project management. The role focuses on payroll and HR information systems within an Information Technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Proficient with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process)
- Contributes to the design application solution, which will support the current and future Information Systems strategy
- Collects, documents, analyzes, verifies, communicates, and tests system solutions
- Communicates and shares progress of development tasks with senior development team members
- Approximately 80% of the time is spent analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting application solutions. The other 20% is spent assisting the senior development team with managing projects
- Participates in technical requirements and design sessions
- Continually builds competencies and enhances knowledge and awareness of Industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen the project and/or technical team and organizational knowledge
Skills
- Proficient with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process)
- Proficient knowledge of business area being supported
- Experience managing small projects
- Basic level of technical knowledge of development, testing methodologies, programming languages, databases, and operating systems related to the area being supported
- Ability to work independently and lead small projects with minimal supervision
- Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10
- Minimum of 2 – 7 years experience in the Information Technology environment
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- Project Management Professional and/or related current technical certifications preferred
