Job description

Summary

McKesson is an impact-driven healthcare company that delivers pharmaceutical products, services, and supply chain solutions. The Health System Account Liaison supports field sales by managing health system customer relationships, resolving issues, coordinating communications, supporting renewals, and presenting customer-focused solutions while traveling extensively within Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our health system customers to help manage the customer relationship and further develop existing business or accounts
  • Manage customer satisfaction and support the field sales team in resolving problems in order to provide them time for strategic engagement with the Health Systems they are responsible for
  • Manage effective and proactive communication between Customers and various teams within McKesson to insure highest level of customer satisfaction (i.e. NPS.)
  • Perform sales and administrative tasks and procedures under supervisor direction on small to mid-size accounts
  • Negotiate or navigate the contracting process
  • Effectively observe, participate, and interface with customers directly to present products, solutions or services that can benefit the customer’s needs
  • Design solutions to meet the needs of our customers
  • Work on the customer roadmap with the field sales team to drive our renewal strategy forward
  • Professionally and effectively interface with customers, the field sales team, internal and external team members, to handle a variety of customer support functions
  • Spend majority of the time at customer sites

Skills

  • ** Remote role, must live in Washington, travel is up to 75% within the state.**
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
  • 4-year college degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • * Ability to travel up to 75%  by car
  • * Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • * Attention to detail, organizational and problem resolution skills
  • * Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate organizational complexity and change
  • * Advanced communications skills (1) Verbal Communication, 2) Non-verbal / Interpersonal communication, 3) Written Communications
  • * Energetic self-starter with a passion for customer service
  • * Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)
  • * Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required
  • * 75% travel within assigned territory
  • * Healthcare or distribution experience preferred
