Summary

The Account Manager, Post-Acute Care will grow and manage customer relationships across a Minnesota territory, develop new business, sell medical-surgical solutions, and achieve territory sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a territory of post-acute care customers and prospects
  • Develop new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities
  • Build strategic relationships with decision-makers across long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and related healthcare organizations
  • Conduct customer business reviews and identify opportunities to improve operational and supply chain outcomes
  • Present and sell medical-surgical products, equipment, and healthcare solutions using a consultative sales approach
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Retain and expand existing customer relationships through exceptional account management and customer service
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver effective product, service, and implementation solutions
  • Maintain accurate customer activity, pipeline, and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM
  • Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales objectives

Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of professional sales experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience selling into post-acute care settings, including:
  • Long-Term Care (LTC)
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
  • Rehabilitation Facilities
  • Home Health
  • Hospice
  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
  • Wound Care
  • Healthcare distribution, medical device, medical supply, or healthcare services sales experience
  • Proven success exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Experience with consultative selling, account planning, and customer business reviews
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment

Qualifications

Must Haves
