Summary
Medline is a healthcare organization offering a hands-on summer internship program for undergraduate students. The Human Resources Intern will support HR initiatives across employee lifecycle management, talent management, employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and belonging while analyzing data and preparing communications.
Responsibilities
- Help assess and improve touchpoints across the employee lifecycle
- Support the creation of talent profiles and succession planning materials
- Assist HR Business Partners with employee relations, performance management, and organizational change initiatives
- Analyze employee feedback and present actionable insights to HR leadership
- Evaluate career pathing framework and support the review of career progression models across the organization
- Contribute to the broader HR strategy by preparing and reviewing HR communications and intranet content
- Participate in talent acquisition activities including job postings and resume screening
- Assist in coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Contribute to the development and execution of employee engagement and belonging initiatives
- Conduct research on HR best practices, trends, and benchmarking data
Skills
- Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences or related major
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills required
- Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
- Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have a bias toward action and be results oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
- Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
- Active interest in the Healthcare industry preferred
