Summary

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality is dedicated to providing environmental protection services to the people of Louisiana. They are seeking a Business Technology Analyst to enhance their digital systems, which includes leading workgroups, coordinating development efforts, and integrating various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Tempo360 workgroups to gather requirements, evaluate enhancement requests, and guide system design and integration
  • Coordinate Agile development efforts with OTS and contractors, including rollout planning, UAT, and issue resolution
  • Design and maintain data structures for Tempo360 and RSP, including development of a comprehensive data directory
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation for new and existing system functionalities
  • Oversee integration of the Mobile Inspection Platform and ensure seamless connection with Tempo360 and reporting tools

Skills

  • Three years of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis
  • Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis
  • An associate's degree in information technology plus one year of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis
  • A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis
  • A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field
  • A master's degree
  • Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field
  • A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion
