Job description

Summary

Oracle is seeking a Staff Consultant for Oracle Health – LTC (Long-Term Living Centers). The role focuses on designing, configuring, activating, and supporting implementations of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across federal agencies, while providing functional and technical consulting on moderately complex customer engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Help design, configure, activate and support the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs and Indian Health Service
  • Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement
  • Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs
  • Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices
  • Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements
  • May act as the team lead on projects
  • Effectively consults with management of customer organizations
  • Participates in business development activities
  • Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • 2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health Millennium solutions
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • At least 3+ years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
  • 3+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the **Oracle Health LTC product(s)**
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects
  • U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position
  • Willing to travel up to 50% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
