Summary
Risepoint is an education technology company that helps regional universities launch and grow online programs for modern learners. The Analytics Solutions Co-op will support end-to-end analytics projects, including data preparation, SQL analysis, exploratory analysis, dashboard development, and communicating actionable insights to stakeholders and senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end analytics projects across the Analytics Solutions team: pulling and cleaning data, extracting key insights, communicating hypotheses to stakeholders, and helping inform business decisions
- Write and optimize SQL queries in Databricks to prepare, transform, and validate datasets for analysis and reporting
- Help build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting experiences (semantic models, DAX measures) that deliver insights to internal leadership and university partners
- Contribute to Risepoint’s AI-first analytical practices by incorporating tools like Claude and Databricks Genie into day-to-day workflows to accelerate analysis and communication; AI is a productivity tool here, not a replacement for analytical judgment, and the expectation is full ownership of and accountability for the work product
- Conduct exploratory analyses (funnel, cohort, and performance) to surface KPIs, answer business questions, and connect marketing investment to downstream outcomes through enrollment
- Form a deep understanding of Risepoint’s data, systems/tools, processes, personnel, and strategic direction across the analytics ecosystem
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior Directors and VPs to communicate data insights and support data-informed decisions
- You will work closely with a Director, Manager, and Analysts

- Demonstrated ability to conceive and execute quantitative analysis and deliver data-driven insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior working experience using SQL, Databricks, Excel modeling, Power BI, and data analysis to clean data, extract insights, and communicate takeaways to leadership
- Prior internship / co-op experience preferred
- Agile workstyle to meet evolving business needs in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
