Summary
Stitch Fix is redefining retail by combining human creativity with advanced data science and Generative AI. The HR Shared Services Consultant will support the employee experience through HR operations, data analysis, specialized employee support, compliance, vendor management, process improvement, and People team projects. The role will also leverage AI and other technologies to improve workflows, reporting, and self-service capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies, provide standardization and improvement recommendations which impact the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire
- Interact with employees, managers, and other internal teams including HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Compensation, L&D, Legal, and IT to provide direction and clarity on processes related to the employee life cycle and systems
- Own Tier II specialized support for important Shared Services programs such as immigration and unemployment, as well as complex employee issues, and maintain data integrity within Workday and other enterprise systems
- Identify gaps and opportunities and own process improvements for shared services tools and systems utilizing cutting edge technologies
- Consistently look for opportunities to enhance employee self service, drive adoption and support ongoing enhancements to automate workflows and increase self service utilization
- Serve as administrator for the FreshService ticketing systems and other tools that support metrics & reporting
- Use captured data to inform monthly and quarterly data insights for internal customers and People team to help drive business decisions and to inform process and vendor enhancements
- Maintain working knowledge and ability to research current, local employment laws, best practices and ensure Stitch Fix policies are legally compliant
- Utilize new tools and technology to proactively support the design and implement of new compliance processes and improvements and maintain and revise current compliance and audit standards
- Provide recommendations to Shared Services leadership for enhancements to increase efficiency and add value to the user experience
- Maintain vendor relationships - support vendor relationships for effective operations and to ensure consistent service delivery and scalable solutions
- Own and participate in ad hoc projects that support the broader People team and partner groups including HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation and IT teams
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Work with core tools and systems relevant to the role

Skills
- You have 2-4 years of experience in HR in a people-focused or HR operations role; Have a Bachelor or Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

- You possess top-notch organization skills, strong attention to detail to develop and execute plans
