The role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues, maintaining documentation, and executing small projects while working with junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues
- Creating and maintaining documentation on technologies supported
- Passing down knowledge of technologies to junior staff
- Executing small projects and assisting in planning larger local projects
- Acting as the initial escalation point for junior technicians
- Innovating and making decisions independently while taking direction when necessary
Skills
- Ability to exhibit good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function well under pressure with multiple priorities
- Basic Understanding of Computer Hardware & Computer Networking
- Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Candidates may require need to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations
- A valid driver's license and vehicle is required
- Some travel may be required
- Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
- An Advanced understanding of Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills
