Legal Technology Entry-Level Developer

Summary

TransPerfect is seeking motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level Developers to join the team supporting Virtual Reef, TransPerfect’s internal business platform. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about software development and building scalable technology solutions. The successful candidates will support the development and maintenance of the platform, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to various development projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Virtual Reef platform
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams on new features and improvements
• Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure platform reliability
• Contribute to front-end and/or back-end development projects
• Help document technical processes, workflows, and system updates
• Support ongoing optimization and performance improvement initiatives
• Stay current on emerging technologies and development best practices

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Exposure to or experience with one or more of the following: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, React, QA automation platforms such as Playwright or Selenium
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of software development principles and web technologies
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
• Internship, academic project, or personal project experience is a plus
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience working with APIs or databases
• Exposure to QA testing methodologies or automation frameworks
• Understanding of responsive web design and modern UI/UX principles
