Summary
TransPerfect is seeking motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level Developers to join the team supporting Virtual Reef, TransPerfect’s internal business platform. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about software development and building scalable technology solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Virtual Reef platform
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams on new features and improvements
- Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure platform reliability
- Contribute to front-end and/or back-end development projects
- Help document technical processes, workflows, and system updates
- Support ongoing optimization and performance improvement initiatives
- Stay current on emerging technologies and development best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Exposure to or experience with one or more of the following: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, React, QA automation platforms such as Playwright or Selenium
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of software development principles and web technologies
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
- Internship, academic project, or personal project experience is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience working with APIs or databases
- Exposure to QA testing methodologies or automation frameworks
- Understanding of responsive web design and modern UI/UX principles
