Summary
UKG provides a workforce operating platform and payroll software designed to help organizations manage their workforce and comply with regulations. The Product Manager Business Analyst II researches U.S. payroll tax and regulatory changes, documents their impact, and partners with product development teams to implement compliant functionality. The role also advises stakeholders, provides training, and communicates complex compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deep-dive into US payroll tax updates and regulations within your assigned zone
- Stay on top of the latest changes: Track daily updates on compliance mandates and identify any adjustments needed for W-4 forms, W-2 reports, tax calculations, and wage attachment regulations
- Bridge the gap: Analyze and summarize identified changes, creating comprehensive documentation for our product and development teams to incorporate into UKG’s payroll products
- Act as a trusted advisor and liaison, collaborating closely with the EPIC Product Team
- Share your knowledge: Train and educate stakeholders on the impact of regulatory changes
- Effectively communicate complex compliance requirements to both internal and external stakeholders, answering questions and providing timely, accurate information
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll compliance or a similar role
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research databases
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
