Summary
Del Medical provides medical imaging solutions, including radiographic systems and radiography equipment for healthcare settings. The Field Service Engineer installs, maintains, repairs, and supports radiographic imaging equipment while training healthcare professionals and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform the installation and setup of radiographic imaging equipment contrast media injectors at various healthcare facilities
- Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to ensure that all equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications
- Deliver on-site training to healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of our equipment
- Offer remote and on-site technical support to resolve customer issues and minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain detailed service records, including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts used
- Adhere to all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Skills
- 2+ years of field service experience, preferably in the medical device industry
- Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology, electronics, engineering technology, or related field, or equivalent military or technical training
- Strong electromechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to travel extensively, with some assignments requiring short notice
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Comfortable working independently in hospital and clinical environments
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed
- Willingness to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary
- Expertise in medical imaging systems and radiographic products is highly desirable
- Certification in medical device repair and maintenance
- Experience in working in a hospital or clinical environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device industry
