Field Service Engineer - Chicago, IL (Company Vehicle)

Summary

Videojet Technologies provides product identification solutions, including in-line printing, coding, marking products, consumables, and software for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets. The Field Service Engineer provides technical service and support for customer equipment, installs products, diagnoses problems, builds customer relationships, and promotes service agreements and newer technologies.

Responsibilities

• Travel 100% within a 2-hour radius from Chicago, IL. There will be limited overnight travel. (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends)
• Provide ongoing care and support for our customer's equipment
• Install our products and solutions at customer locations
• Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems
• Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers, to develop excellent relationships
• Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology

Skills

• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends)
• 2 years of technical experience repairing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing different kinds of equipment
• Basic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
