Summary
DeRoyal is seeking a Strategic Account Liaison for its DME team to serve as the main point of contact for strategic accounts using DME products. The role involves supporting physicians and discharge planners, collecting billing documentation, managing inventory, improving clinical workflows, driving customer compliance, and coordinating product delivery and account operations.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients and referral sources on relevant products and equipment
- Manage all documentation collection activities for billing of medical products for discharged patients
- Manage on-site inventory levels to ensure adequate service levels are met and patient care can be provided
- Work with DeRoyal sales team members to assist with on-site customer training and drive compliance
- Identify and develop strategic relationships within accounts to enhance business performance and patient care
- Communicate with medical professionals to drive documentation collection
- Deliver product(s) to discharging patients/patient rooms in hospital, as needed
- Work with account Supply Chain teams to optimize shipping and delivery of product to reduce product leakage
- Work with account staff to optimize product par levels based on historical and expected usage
- Work with sales, DME, and Continuum teams to troubleshoot any relevant onsite issues as they arise
- Communicate patient information and documentation requirements with DME Services team to ensure efficient workflow
- Stock inventory in on-site consignment locations as needed
- May require on-call hours, as needed
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years related experience
- Ability to use standard office equipment (e.g. office copier, computers required)
- Must be able to use several computer software programs, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- This position will require significant travel. Expected daily and/or overnight travel between 50-75%
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Hospital and/or EMR Experience preferred
- Brightree experience preferred
