Summary
DocAssistant.ai is a healthcare AI startup providing an AI scribe, clinical decision support, and E/M coding platform for emergency medicine and acute care. The Founding Sales Development Representative will own outbound prospecting, discovery and demo booking, customer onboarding, conference presence, usage tracking, and renewal support for physician and healthcare group customers.
Responsibilities
- Outbound prospecting across emergency medicine and acute care groups — Medical Directors, CMOs, ED Directors, practice managers, group presidents
- Discovery calls, demo booking, and follow-up cadences that never drop a loop
- Customer onboarding and early adoption: short setup sessions and post-shift check-ins until usage sticks
- Conference presence (3+ per year: AAEM, ACEP, EDPMA and more) and visits to target hospitals
- Usage tracking, client updates, and renewals support in HubSpot
Skills
- Follow-through is your whole game. You close every loop without being chased, update physicians and executives proactively, and finish multi-step processes end to end
- You're smart, hungry, and early-to-mid career. You learn a technical clinical product fast and hold your own with skeptical, brilliant buyers
- You're phone-native. Comfortable tracking down numbers, cold calling, and texting a doctor after a night shift
- You're motivated by upside and scope, not base. You want a founding seat, not a cog seat
- Full-time, fully remote in the US; employment structure (W2 or 1099) confirmed in process
