Summary
HealthVerity is a healthcare data and technology company focused on privacy-protected real-world data exchange for healthcare and life sciences organizations. The Account Executive will generate new business and expand the company’s presence among emerging and small biopharmaceutical companies by managing the sales cycle, presenting healthcare data solutions, and closing complex deals. The role also involves pipeline management, cross-functional collaboration, and advising clients on commercial analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business within the emerging and small biopharma segment
- Build, maintain, and manage a robust sales pipeline with consistent forecast accuracy to achieve individual revenue goals
- Move deals through the sales cycle at pace — from initial outreach and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on healthcare data and commercial analytics solutions
- Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with executive stakeholders and end users within pharmaceutical companies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Real World Data Solutions, Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to develop tailored solutions for client challenges
- Drive all stages of opportunity development including RFIs, RFPs, proposals, contract negotiations, and execution
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving commercial data needs within biopharma
Skills
- 3-7 years of sales experience in healthcare data, analytics, SaaS, or life sciences technology
- Proven track record selling to emerging/small pharmaceutical or biotech companies, within commercial functions
- Experience with healthcare data assets (claims, EHR, lab, consumer) and how they are used in commercial settings
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume book of business while maintaining deal quality
- Ability to diagnose client challenges through discovery and recommend tailored, multi-product solutions
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), prospecting platforms (LinkedIn Navigator, Outreach), and sales forecasting
- Willingness to travel for conferences, client meetings, and industry events as needed
