Job description

Summary

Integra LifeSciences is a healthcare company focused on innovating treatment pathways and advancing patient outcomes. The Associate Sales Representative will expand sales and utilization of Acclarent ENT products, convert competitive accounts, and provide clinical and administrative support in the Fort Worth territory. The role includes learning and demonstrating ENT device use, independently supporting surgeries after training, and executing the sales cycle professionally and ethically.

Responsibilities

  • Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and corporate Integra Lifesciences, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Associate Sales Representative will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our ENT devices in an operating room, private practice, and/or ASC setting
  • The ASR will be developed by the Account Manager and Regional Manager
  • The ASR will be expected to support surgeries independently, following formal and field training
  • This position requires the ability to handle complex anatomy, devices and customer questions/objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology
  • This position will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to aligned Account Manager and/or next management level
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • The ASR is responsible for delivering on MBOs from the Regional Business Manager

Skills

  • An Undergraduate Bachelor's degree required
  • The ability to work in an operating room, private practice, and ASC environment is required
  • This position requires travel - Territory to include but not limited to Fort Worth, mid-cities, Lubbock, and portions of West TX
  • The ASR MUST BE WILLING TO MOVE to an open backfill Account Manager territory, upon being deemed qualified and ready per the Regional Business Manager
  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States is required
  • Eager to Learn the basics of the ENT space and the medical device field
  • The ASR must be coachable, as this is a developmental role
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and ever-changing competitive market
  • Exempt position requiring the ability to establish effective work schedule that accommodates frequent disruptions to routines and flexible work hours in accomplishing objectives
  • Must have and maintain knowledge of healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
  • Must successfully complete company training programs
  • Must have valid driver's license in the state of residence, advanced computer skills, and the ability to multitask without direct oversight of manager
  • Must be willing and able to travel overnight and locally, regionally, and nationally up to 50%
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Position requires periodic presence near and with heavy machinery, ability to lift 60lbs, ability to wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment in lab environment
  • One or more years of relevant sales, clinical or professional experience preferred
  • Documentation of current and prior successful sales performance is preferred
  • Experience covering large geographies preferred
  • Experience selling technical, capital and disposable products preferred
