Summary
Lipari Foods is an independent distributor of global and specialty foods serving retail and foodservice customers. The Sales Representative II develops customer relationships, presents Lipari products and services, collects orders and payments, and supports profitable sales through in-person consultation across an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit a professional leadership presence with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers
- Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit competitive edge to grow your business
- Keep customers within their payment terms and collecting payments when appropriate
- Be the customers’ consultant and the source for order collection
- Present new information, such as products, pricing, etc., to established customers
Skills
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with in-person, “Belly to Belly” consultation to designated customers
- Experience with retailers in deli, bakery, convenience stores, grocers, etc
- Ability to market and present new items, programs and other ‘value-add' services to customers
- Exhibit professionalism in your appearance and communication
- Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and standard email applications
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Ability to engage in a significant amount of territorial travel, regional sales meetings and other sales specific events
- Valid Driver License and reliable vehicle
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- Multiple languages a plus
