Summary
Made4net is a provider of supply chain execution software solutions. The Business Development Representative will create qualified sales pipeline by researching target companies, identifying stakeholders, initiating conversations, qualifying business needs, and collaborating with Account Executives and Marketing. The role also involves maintaining accurate CRM data, learning the market and competitors, and experimenting with prospecting approaches.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting into companies that fit our ideal customer profile through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, campaigns, and good old-fashioned research
- Following up quickly and thoughtfully with prospects who engage with Made4net
- Working directly with Account Executives to develop account strategies and break into high-value organizations
- Learning enough about a prospect’s operation to understand what is happening, why it matters, and whether Made4net can help
- Identifying the people involved in the buying decision and finding ways to engage multiple stakeholders
- Using the tools available to identify the right prospects, ask better questions, and schedule qualification calls with the Sales Development Manager
- Keeping Salesforce accurate and up to date - because if it didn’t happen in Salesforce, we’re going to pretend it didn’t happen
- Learning our market, competitors, customers, and the supply chain challenges our technology solves
- Experimenting with new approaches. If you have a smarter way to get someone’s attention, we want to hear it

Skills
- Associates degree required
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or the supply chain industry
- Curious and willing to ask thoughtful questions to better understand prospects and their business needs
- Competitive, results-driven, and motivated by achieving goals and improving performance
- Resilient and comfortable navigating rejection while maintaining the motivation to make the next call
- Coachable, with a willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve
- Confident communicating and building relationships with people you do not know
- Organized and able to manage a high level of activity while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of individual results
- Willing to challenge existing approaches, contribute new ideas, and identify better ways of working
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, web meeting tools, Salesforce or another CRM, LinkedIn, and common prospecting and research tools
- Ability to travel on a limited basis for company meetings and selected industry events
- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, SaaS, or supply chain is a plus, but not required
