Job description

Summary

Maxwell Power is transforming how renewable energy projects are financed across the United States. The Underwriting Assistant will support renewable energy project finance underwriting by reviewing project documentation, assisting with due diligence, maintaining data rooms and compliance documentation, and monitoring industry and regulatory developments.

Responsibilities

  • Support underwriting of renewable energy project finance
  • Review and analyze project documentation (PPAs, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, interconnection agreements, insurance policies, etc.)
  • Assist in due diligence efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors
  • Maintain organized data rooms and assist with compliance documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Stay up to date on renewable energy industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments that impact underwriting assumptions

Skills

  • 1 year + of experience in underwriting or related fields
  • A quiet work from home environment with reliable internet service
  • Ability to synthesize technical, legal, and financial information
  • High personal integrity, accountability, and eagerness to learn
  • Candidates must physically reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application and throughout employment
