Summary
Medtronic is a global healthcare technology company developing medical technologies and digital solutions that support surgical care. The Implementation Specialist deploys and supports the Touch Surgery ecosystem across healthcare organizations, including site preparation, installation, configuration, training, troubleshooting, and go-live support. This remote, customer-facing role works with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders throughout the Western United States.
Responsibilities
- Execute multiple concurrent implementations of the Touch Surgery™ ecosystem across healthcare organizations
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, operating room leaders, residents, information technology teams, and biomedical engineering teams to support deployment readiness and adoption
- Install, configure, test, and validate hardware and software solutions in hospital environments, including network connectivity and system configuration activities
- Deliver customer training, implementation meetings, and go-live support for clinical and operational users
- Troubleshoot technical, workflow, and deployment challenges and coordinate resolution with internal and customer stakeholders
- Assess customer environments, identify potential implementation risks, and develop contingency plans to support successful deployments
- Partner with sales teams on pre-sales activities, customer evaluations, and implementation planning
- Share customer feedback and field insights with product, engineering, and customer success teams to support continuous improvement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with 0+ years of relevant experience
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Experience implementing, deploying, supporting, or training users on hardware, software, medical device, or digital technology solutions
- Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to support technology deployments
- Experience with medical devices, surgical technologies, video management, or imaging platforms
- Experience working in operating rooms, procedural environments, or hospital-based clinical settings
- Experience supporting healthcare information technology, networking, system configuration, or live-streaming technologies
- Experience delivering customer onboarding, training, adoption, or change management activities
- Experience presenting, educating, or training customer-facing audiences
- Experience working independently in a field-based customer-facing role
Qualifications
