Summary
North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a detail-oriented intern to provide support for the Driver Education Program. This position involves assisting with application processing and offering program-related guidance to participants.
Responsibilities
- Review PTDE applications in ERMS, issue approval or denial letters, and help parents understand eligibility requirements
- Support parents with driving log questions and program guidance through the Driver Services inbox
- Review memorandums and addendums for new Skip the Trip proctoring locations
- Assign new proctors with required training and distribute login credentials
- Assist parents with ticket code issues and general questions
- Support MVD’s Driver Education Program Manager with special projects and initiatives
Skills
- Currently enrolled students in a degree program at an accredited educational institution
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable handling sensitive information
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn program procedures
