Nonprofit state political party organizing North Carolina voters and electing Democrats to local, state, and federal office.
The North Carolina Democratic Party (NCDP) is seeking a motivated intern to join
our Organizing Department through November 2026. This is an opportunity to get
hands-on experience in grassroots political organizing, working directly with
NCDP staff to build volunteer networks, support voter contact programs, and
strengthen the Party’s presence in communities across North Carolina.
Organizing interns will support the day-to-day work of the department, gaining
practical experience in the tools and tactics that power successful campaigns.
Interns will work closely with Regional Organizing Directors and staff in other
departments, and will have the chance to learn about the broader work of the
NCDP, including how the Party recruits and supports volunteers, coordinates
with county parties, and builds long-term organizing infrastructure. Interns will
also be invited to participate in trainings hosted by the NCDP alongside other
interns and fellows.
