Summary
Randstad Digital Americas is seeking an Employee and Labor Relations Partner to provide employee and labor relations support in a remote HR role. The position advises leaders on performance management, corrective actions, policy and labor contract compliance, manages workplace accommodations, and conducts objective workplace investigations.
Responsibilities
- **Workplace Investigations:** Lead end-to-end workplace investigations regarding allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations; document findings and recommend appropriate resolutions
- **Leadership Consultation:** Advise managers and leaders on performance management strategies, progressive discipline, corrective actions, and policy or labor contract interpretations
- **Accommodations Management:** Oversee and facilitate employee accommodation requests, including ADA, pregnancy, and religious accommodations
- **Labor & Employee Relations:** Serve as a core contact for labor relations inquiries, guiding managers through collective bargaining/labor agreement guidelines and workplace conflict resolution
- **Case Management & Data Tracking:** Maintain detailed, confidential case files using case management software (**HR Acuity**) and cross-reference employee data within **Workday**
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated employee relations experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience independently conducting and documenting complex workplace investigations
- Proven track record of consulting with leadership on performance management, corrective action plans, and employee coaching
- Direct experience managing ADA, pregnancy, and religious accommodation processes
- Strong critical thinking, active listening, relationship-building, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
- Must be comfortable using personal equipment for work (Windows-based PC strongly preferred)
- Bachelors
- Employee Relations (3 years of experience is required)
- Labor Relations (3 years of experience is required)
- 3–5 years preferred
- Healthcare industry experience is a major bonus
- Familiarity with case management tools (e.g., HR Acuity) and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
- Prior hands-on experience in labor relations or unionized environments
