Job description

Summary

Roofr provides CRM and business management solutions for roofing professionals, including sales tools, payments, and material ordering. The Field Sales Development Representative will capture and qualify leads through industry events, phone, and email, demonstrate Roofr’s solutions, and coordinate qualified opportunities with the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about Roofr, our industry and competitors, and our value proposition
  • Execute a high number of daily activities (Calls, emails, social selling, etc.)
  • Attend roofing industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads
  • Conduct on-the-spot helicopter demos showcasing Roofr’s value proposition
  • Drive revenue growth by connecting with roofing professionals in the field Work partner-referred leads inside a defined speed-to-lead SLA — first touch within minutes, not hours
  • Connect with and qualify inbound leads
  • Build and establish rapport with multiple levels of buyers
  • Understand the prospect's needs and effectively communicate how Roofr will help
  • Partner with Roofr Partner Reps and Account Executives and collaborate on how to hand off qualified sales opportunities
  • Own demo attendance: confirm before the call, chase no-shows the same day, and re-book or re-qualify rather than letting them go cold
  • Track and improve your own booked-to-attended conversion rate
  • Document various details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide detailed and accurate pipeline forecasting and maintain data hygiene
  • As part of a startup team, help define and improve sales processes, strategies, tactics, and help our customers navigate our tools with ease

Skills

  • Previous experience attending industry events or trade shows in a similar role
  • 2+ years of experience in a related SDR role
  • Has experience in B2B Saas Sales
  • Self-starter, highly detail-oriented, quick learner, able to think on your feet
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a creative problem-solving approach
  • Ability to take feedback, make adjustments, and handle objections
  • Comfortable on the phone, strong email writing skills and happy to handle objections
  • Uncover potential opportunities by having conversations and setting meetings with prospective buyers
  • Familiarity with sales tools: Hubspot, Aircall, Intercom or equivalents
  • Ability and willingness to perform manual labor (carrying boxes, setting up booths, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Roofing and/or construction experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
