Summary
SunSource is an industrial distribution company providing fluid power, automation, industrial components, and repair solutions. The Outside Sales Account Manager will develop sales plans, identify new business, build customer relationships, provide value-added fluid power solutions, and manage territory and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in partnership with your District Sales Manager
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, customer visits, and presentations
- Build, grow, and maintain strong customer relationships across an assigned territory
- Partner with experienced inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions that solve customer challenges
- Leverage CRM tools and data insights to effectively manage your pipeline, territory, and sales activity
Skills
- - **3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience** — **Fluid Power sales experience strongly preferred**
- - Bachelor's degree in a related field, **2-year technical degree** (Fluid Power focus preferred), or equivalent experience
- - Hands-on knowledge of **fluid power systems, components, and troubleshooting** is a strong advantage
- - Excellent **communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills**
- - Strong computer and technology skills, including **Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint**, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use **CRM systems and related applications**
- - Valid **driver's license** and ability to travel as needed
- Fluid Power sales experience strongly preferred
- Fluid Power focus preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of **fluid power systems, components, and troubleshooting** is a strong advantage
