Summary
Denver Industrial Pumps, a SunSource company, is a full-service distributor of pumps and related equipment serving diverse industrial markets. The company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage a multi-state Utah and Nevada territory, develop new business, expand existing accounts, and deliver fluid process solutions through consultative sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory **sales strategy to drive revenue growth**
- **Identify, prospect**, and secure new customers across key industries
- **Grow existing accounts** by providing consultative, **solution-based sales**
- Conduct market research to uncover opportunities and understand competitive landscape
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical solutions
- Manage **multiple opportunities** and projects simultaneously
- **Partner with internal teams** to ensure seamless customer experience
- Utilize CRM tools and technology to track activity and manage pipeline
- Maintain strong product knowledge across pumps and fluid process equipment
Skills
- - High school diploma or GED required
- - 2+ years of B2B industrial sales experience
- - Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- - Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
- - Highly organized with strong time management skills
- - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- - Must live in the state that you are managing accounts in (Utah or Nevada)
- - Valid driver's license required
- - Ability to travel within territory, including occasional overnight travel
- Bachelor's degree preferred (business, marketing, engineering, or related field)
- - Experience with fluid process, pumps, or related equipment preferred
