Summary
SuppliFlex is a technology company helping multi-channel e-commerce SMBs improve inventory management and operational efficiency through synchronized intelligence. The Sales Development Representative Intern will research target accounts, identify prospects, conduct outreach, qualify leads, schedule meetings, maintain CRM records, and collaborate with sales and marketing in a B2B SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- The intern will support the sales team by researching target accounts, identifying prospects, and building contact lists for outreach
- Day-to-day tasks include conducting outbound emails and calls, qualifying inbound leads, and scheduling introductory meetings for account executives
- The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, tracking engagement, and preparing brief summaries of prospect needs
- The intern will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging, learn core sales methodologies, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment
Skills
- Sales and Inside Sales skills, with an interest in consultative selling and understanding customer pain points
- Lead Generation and Business Development abilities, including researching prospects and identifying new opportunities
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally
- Comfort using CRM or sales engagement tools, spreadsheets, and basic productivity software
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage tasks in a remote environment with guidance from the team
- Interest in e-commerce, SaaS, or startup environments
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Prior internship or project experience in sales or marketing
