Summary
Mews is transforming the hospitality industry with technology that helps hotels operate more efficiently and create better guest experiences. The Business Development Representative will expand Mews' East Coast market by conducting outbound prospecting, building qualified pipeline, booking discovery meetings, and providing market intelligence to the commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Run multi-channel cold outreach including calls, emails, and targeted sequences to hotel GMs, revenue managers, and procurement contacts, converting conversations into booked discovery meetings for the Account Executive team
- Research and tier new business opportunities in the East Coast market, building pipeline on your own initiative
- Track and report pipeline activity to your direct manager on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences
- Feed market intelligence from hotel operators back to your regional commercial team to sharpen targeting and outreach approach
- Utilize AI often to do research and prospecting
Skills
- * Ideally at least six months of experience in an outbound-facing role where you initiated contact and handled rejection, whether BDR, SDR, inside sales, or a high-contact customer-facing position
- * Living and located on the Central to East Coast, USA
- * Hospitality experience required
- * A genuine connection and passion to hospitality, through hotel operations, front desk, reservations, events, food and beverage, or deep curiosity about how hotels work, so you can speak credibly to a GM from the first call
- * Clear written and verbal communication in both languages, with the ability to adapt your tone for different decision-maker profiles
- * AI Fluency Level 2 or the equivalent hands-on experience: deliberate use of AI for outreach research and drafting, consistent review before anything goes out, and full ownership of the result
- * Familiarity with Salesforce and outbound platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- * Prior BDR or SDR experience at a SaaS company with a track record of hitting activity and pipeline targets
